Senegal should brace for the launching of Cameroonian “weapons,” according to Georges-Kevin Nkoudou

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, a striker for Cameroon, thinks his team has the “weapons” to defeat Senegal, the reigning champions, in their Africa Cup of Nations match.

Senegal’s title defence got off to a perfect start as they defeated Gambia 3-0, while Cameroon had to rally from behind to draw 1-1 with 10-man Guinea in Group C.

Before Friday’s highly anticipated match between the Indomitable Lions and the Teranga Lions at Yamoussoukro’s Charles Konan Banny stadium, Nkoudou is still feeling positive, though.

Senegal is undoubtedly the frontrunner, but Nkoudou remarked, “We must never bury Cameroon; we remain a great team and a great nation.”

They defeated Gambia quite convincingly to start this tournament. Although we played well, we were only able to secure a single point.

“For the time being, we must leave this behind us and concentrate on our match against Senegal, which will be extremely challenging for both teams. I believe we have every tool needed to place them in a more challenging situation.
