Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo discussed their current situation after the loss to the Los Angeles Clippers
Center Bam Adebayo seems unfazed by the Miami Heat’s position as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.Adebayo believes that this year’s lineup is better than the one that made it to the NBA Finals the previous year, if anything.”You go back to that, and you be like, ‘We was in the worst position last year for the whole season, not just a half,” Adebayo stated. “So at this point, we’re better than we were last year.”
After the Los Angeles Clippers’ defeat at the hands of Kawhi Leonard on Sunday, the three-time All-Star voiced this assertion. After the Heat lost to the Denver Nuggets in five games the previous season, Adebayo thinks this team can win anything. But guard Gabe Vincent and shooter Max Strus are starting to lose a lot of ground.
Adebayo stated, “All we have to do is enter the film [room] and lock in.” “And keep having communication and keep figuring out how we can win these games even if it’s in the mud.”
Their postseason success will be aided by the January addition of guard Terry Rozier. A fourth player, capable of scoring over 20 points in any given game, is added by him.
Adebayo is raising the bar high for the Heat, but their postseason performance from the previous season showed that it’s never a good idea to count them out.

Adebayo remarked, “A lot, just because I’m usually the backline,” in reference to his defense. As I can see everything, I consider myself to be the quarterback. As such, I can communicate with my teammates and alert them to things like screen coming, chest coming, backdoors to be aware of, and even the location of their man. It just helps, and while it might not ensure victory, it positions the players well.”
